WBCQ is an international shortwave broadcast station located in Monticello, Maine, USA. We broadcast on 7.490 MHz, 9.330 MHz, 5.130 MHz, 3.265 MHz, and 6.160 MHz. We’ve been bringing access to the airwaves for people like you since 1998.

Our shortwave service is open for your programming. We have the best rates in the industry. Contact us for more information.

Help us build our Radar Observatory using one of the largest collections of high power radar equipment in the world.

WBCQ is in need of an experienced transmitter engineer to work full time at one of the most powerful shortwave stations in the world. Located in northern Maine, in a quiet, safe, friendly community. Must have high power transmitter repair skills. Contact us for more information.

Free Speech on the Airwaves

WBCQ strongly supports the United States of America’s constitutional right to free speech. Programs aired by our clients are not censored in any way.

We believes that our programmers have the right to express themselves on the airwaves in any way they seem fit. This is why you will find a diverse mix of music, talk, commentary, spiritual, religious, and commercial programming on WBCQ. We only restrict programming content if the programmer directly advocates harming other human beings based on their race, creed, or national origin.
