Here are the recent WBCQ schedule changes, effective May 1, 2010.

Good Friends Radio Network returns, daily 9am-9pm (1300-0100 UTC), on 9330
The Overcomer Ministry returns, Saturday-Thursday 8pm-11pm (0000-0300) and Friday 9pm-11pm (0100-0300), on 7415

The Area 51 schedule has changed a little, as we re-adjust to the summer season:

Pirates Week with Ragnar Daneskjold moves from Sunday 6pm to Sunday 10pm (0200) on 5110
The International Radio Report moves from Sunday 6:30pm to Sunday 10:30pm (0230) on 5110
The Lumpy Gravy Radio Show moves from Saturday 8pm to Saturday 6pm (2200) on 5110

Live from the 23rd SWL Winterfest

Greetings from Kulpsville! We will be doing live broadcasting from the 23rd annual SWL Winterfest today and tomorrow via WBCQ 5.110 MHz. Our schedule is as follows:

Friday, March 5: 6pm – 11pm eastern US time (2300-0400 UTC)
Saturday, March 6: 5pm – 1am (2200-0600 UTC)

We will be available on the internet on our regular Area 51 webcast at www.splatterbox.us:5110.

Area 51 Schedule Changes

Area 51 on WBCQ will be dropping all weekday programming starting Monday, February 1, 2010. We really hate to do this, but we aren’t able to sustain the programming given the level of support received to date. We will continue weekend programming on WBCQ 5.110 MHz, from 6pm to 10pm US eastern time Saturdays (2300 to 0300 UTC) and Sundays from 5pm to 10pm eastern time Sundays (2200 to 0300 UTC).

Area 51 Expands Airtime on WBCQ

Thanks to David Hargrave, our kind benefactor, we are pleased to announce that Area 51 programming on WBCQ The Planet is expanding seven hours a week for the next two weeks. The expanded Area 51 schedule, effective Monday, June 8, 2009, is as follows:

Monday through Friday : 7PM to 10PM US Eastern time (2300 to 0200 UTC)
Saturday: 6PM to 10PM US Eastern Time (2200 to 0200 UTC)
Sunday: 6PM to 8PM US Eastern Time (2200 to 0000 UTC)

Keep a close eye on the Area 51 program schedule for up to the minute changes and additions.

Off The Hook Returns

We’re pleased to announce the return of Off The Hook to WBCQ. Starting this Wednesday at 7PM eastern time, we will be running Off The Hook live from the source at WBAI FM 99.5 in New York. Off The Hook joins the Area 51 block of programming on WBCQ 5.110 MHz.

Off The Hook is a hacker-oriented radio show hosted by Emmanuel Goldstein, publisher of 2600 Magazine. The show’s been running steady since 1988, and formerly ran on WBCQ 7.415 until recently. The 2600 family has long been friends of the station.

Area 51 has adjusted it’s schedule to improve reception for our valued shortwave listeners. Starting Sunday, November 16, 2008, Area 51 will be heard daily from 6 to 8 PM eastern time (2200 to 0000 UTC) on WBCQ 5.110 MHz. You can always get the current Area 51 schedule and lots of other goodies at www.worldmicroscope.com.

Trailer Trash Radio, heard on Sundays from 3 to 4PM eastern time on WBCQ 7.415, is being taken over by Radio Jamba International for their Sunday, November 16 broadcast.

Commander Bunny/Kracker Victory Special on Area 51

On Wednesday night, November 5, 2008, from 7-9PM on WBCQ 5.110 MHz, Commander Bunny and Kracker will hold their nationwide victory celebration and start the process of removing the corrupt monkeys who now occupy the White House and replacing them with Commander Bunny – Kracker supporters!
